Raidmax Scorpio Computer Case
Introduction:
Are you looking for a solid budget pre-mod computer case with a solid
powersupply and great looks? Do you want it to be quiet while providing
acceptable cooling? May I suggest the Raidmax Scorpio?
Looks:
The pictures say it all. This is the black model if you havent figured
that out already. It also comes in Blue, Yellow, Silver, and Green. The
default lighting by the side panel fan lights the case up nicely without
being overpowering, but you may add lighting as you desire.

Power Supply:
It is a dual fan power supply and is very quiet, it handles 5 LED Fans
and 2 temperature controlled fans just fine, as well as a cd burner and
dvd burner. I have a P4 2.4c overclocked to 3.1 Ghz, an ATI Radeon 9600xt
with VIVO, a sound blaster live sound card, a hyperlight, 512MB of Dual
Channel Ram, two 120GB Hard Drives, IDE, with 8mb caches, there is also
a 200gb 8mb cache hard drive, IDE, many usb devices are powered by it,
and it is very stable. For a quiet powersupply that's included in a budget
case, that is very impressive.

Cooling:
3 quiet case fans (2 of which are temperature controlled) and a dual fan
power supply are provided stock and I didnt experience any overheating
while using stock cooling on my 2.4c while it was running at stock speeds)
There is space for 4 additional fans on the front at the bottom, which
I used.

Inside:
-- Drive mounting:
Standard, no brackets, which would have been nice, but for a pre mod it's
good. There is space for four 5.25" devices (with front access),
and two 3.5" exposed drive bays are also included. There is also
room for 4 internal 3.5" devices, for those that cant count, that
is room for four 5.25" devices and six 3.5" devices.
--No Removeable motherboard tray, but that's not an essential.

Features:
--Headphone and Mic Jacks on the front by the USB2.0 Ports, unfortunately,
they are just 3.5mm connectors to connect to your sound card. So you cant
have speakers and headphones at the same time without a splitter. The
USB 2.0 Ports are nice, but I kinda wish there were firewire ports. These
ports are at the bottom of the case, it would be nice if they were a little
higher and easier to access.
Conclusion:
This flashy case is wonderful, it's got lots of pretty bling bling, very
eye catching, the window looks great, Front USB 2.0 Ports are nice to
have. There are also headphone and microphone jacks on the front, but
not the best audio jacks because they dont plug into the motherboard internally,
a removeable motherboard tray would have been nice, but that's not an
essential. The power supply is acceptable and I have not experienced any
problems with it, there is good cooling, yet doesn't make your ears bleed.
If you want an eye catching case, that wont make you deaf, and one that
doesn't have a bad power supply, yet offers all of this at a price tag
that wont make you sacrifice your new video card, consider the Raidmax
Scorpio.
